Seeking the Face of God

-Nehemiah 1:4-11

As children of God we have full access to God and his kingdom. We can ask and we shall receive but this doesn't mean that God is our personal ATM. It is important that we understand the concept of seeking God's face before we seek his hand. We must have a personal relationship with God to receive access and gifts from our father. For example, if you asked your worldly father for $20 he would selflessly give it to you. If you were to ask a random dad on the street for $20, he would be confused and most likely say no. In this, we must keep a deep, truthful relationship with our father to understand what his will is. We cannot ask God to move in our lives if we never talk with him outside of our requests. In all things we should continually be seeking the face of God through prayer and worship prior to seeking his hand to move in our lives.
