Matthew 5:11-12
As Christians we are bound to face trials. We live the phrase of “swimming upstream” or “going against the current”. And it's true we live or strive to live a true Christian life that looks nothing like the social norms of our world today. And that's how it should be. In Matthew 5, we are being encouraged to rejoice when we are insulted or persecuted because if you aren’t you're not doing something right! If the enemy wasn’t acctacking us then we obviously aren’t a threat to him and we should all strive to be the biggest threat to the enemy. So when you face hard things, take heart and know you're on the winning side. The side that conquered death!!
