When Jesus comes into our life he completely transforms our heart. Sometimes though because our thought patterns can be the same we get discouraged and discount the work that God has done in our lives. This is where we need to be transformed by the renewing of our mind. In Romans 12:2 Paul says "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind". This is a process and takes us getting in our word, watching what we look at, and choosing the people we hang out with carefully. Don't be discouraged, instead know that Christ is with you and your thought patterns will begin to follow the change that Christ has already done in your heart.
