Romans 12:2
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
Jesus did not prohibit planning for the future, but he did prohibit worrying about it. Jesus urged his disciples to focus on the challenges in the present. We should never dwell in the past and get anxious about the future. When specific thoughts occur we should always remember how God’s purpose allows us to reach success. Trust in God’s plan and the timing he has set upon our lives. Let your life reflect the faith you have in God. Fear God and pray about everything. Be strong and courageous as God’s guides a path specific to you.
